About Us

The Lost Sock Rescue Society was founded in 1963 by Mrs. Iris Weaverly.

Our mission is to recover, rehabilitate and rehome lost, unwanted, and abandoned socks.

We reject the common misconception that single socks have no value outside of a bonded pair, and fight implicit bias against mismatched mates.
